Enrollment Opens for Youth Entrepreneurship Academy in Metro East
High school and entering-college students invited to 2010 Allsup Summer Entrepreneurship Academy at the Southwestern Illinois College(SWIC) campus, July 12-16, in Belleville, Illinois.
High school students and entering-college freshmen are invited to register for the 2010 Allsup Summer Entrepreneurship Academy set for Monday to Friday, July 12 to 16. The entrepreneurship academy will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Belleville Campus of Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC).
Activities are geared to opening students' eyes to the challenges and opportunities for developing their own business enterprises, including Internet-based businesses. The program incorporates hands-on experiential learning, interactions with local entrepreneurs, real-world business examples, team-building activities and a business plan competition with cash prizes.
